The three reels above were apart of a series I did to showcase a local, regenerative farm in Laurel, MT that is founded on healthy food and resilient community. The series highlights Claire and Patrick, co-owners of Stone Soup Garden, and their philosophy around local ag.
I developed interview questions and conducted an hour long interview, using the audio as a voice-over, and pairing it with clips I filmed on my phone around their farm.
Each reel covers larger themes that emerged from their interview including their soil health philosophy, staying resilient through climate change and the challenges of running a small farm, and the importance of community in local agriculture. They were posted over the span of three weeks.

To create this reel I used audio from hearing testimony given at the Montana State Legislature on SJ9, a soil health resolution, and paired it with B-Roll footage. Footage is not my own. Click the image to watch the reel.

I made this reel from footage taken at Northern Plains' rally to protect the Montana Constitution. It is a mix of my own phone footage and news footage. Click the image to watch the reel.

This reel came out of Northern Plains' rally against NorthWestern Energy's methane-fired power plant in Laurel, MT. I recorded all footage from my cellphone. Click the image to watch the reel.
