Northern Plains Resource Council in Montana is one of several community groups involved in an ongoing, more than 20-year old contract with the Stillwater Mining Company to protect local rivers and maintain the rural quality of life that defines the local communities. The contract is called the Good Neighbor Agreement. In 2020 community groups released the Water Quality Adaptive Management Plans (AMP), a new addition to the contract to institute more robust water quality testing and protections.
I was tasked with designing a factsheet that breaks down the basic components of the AMP and visually illustrates the new policies.
